Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate as well as a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in May 2021. This was necessary for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is a cohost of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her increased interest in politics to being a mother during 2008's primaries. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election outcome while living in Jordan. She was able see the effect it had on people in Jordan and gained an appreciation for the worldwide reach of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC program The Cycle. She was co-hosting the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 through July 2015.
