Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her character as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. In her role as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. After the seventh season Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended August 13th in 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for an Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick has openly declared her Jewish heritage and has said she participates in Passover seders.
